Parent Announcement

Parents, please make sure that you have an ID or Drivers License with you when you bring your child to school. If you want to bring your child to their class,  you will have to check in at the reception desk before you are allowed to do so.

When you are picking them up at parent pick up, you will have to provide an ID or Drivers License so we can verify you are permitted to pick them up. Please be patient during this process, these measures are put in place to provide safety to your child at all times.

Pulaski Co. Food delivery changes!!!

Parents, In order to continue to do everything we can to limit social contact during this time, we will be sending multiple meals home with you at a time and only delivering two days a week. Today, Friday March 26th, you will be getting food for today and Monday as well.

Each following week we will be serving and delivering on Tuesdays and Thursdays only. Tuesday, March 31st will be our next feeding day and you will receive meals for Tuesday and Wednesday. On Thursday you will receive meals for Thursday, Friday, and Monday. 

If you have any additional needs, please contact your child’s school. We want to be sure that continue meeting student needs during this time. Thank you

Resources Available

Pulaski County Schools want to assist our families in coping to the necessary changes to prevent the transmission of COVID-19.  School Guidance Counselors and Family Resource/Youth Services Center staff are available daily from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.   Do not hesitate to contact school staff if you need assistance!  If you need emergency medical assistance, please contact 911 or the local emergency room.  Also available are a Suicide Prevention hotline (1-800-273-TALK) and Text Crisis Line (just text 741741) for support.  Click the above article title for more information and links to resources.

Student Meals and Pick-Up Locations

If you have contacted your school to request meals during our #iLearnPulaski Days and plan to pick those up at the community drop-off location, please click HERE for the list of locations. 

CHANGES as of Friday, March 27:  Beginning the week of March 30, meal pickup and meal delivered to site locations will only be on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Meals picked up/delivered on Tuesdays and Thursdays will include meals for multiple days.  

Preschool & Kindergarten Registration 2020-2021

-- KINDERGARTEN --

Kindergarten registration for the 2020-21 school year is scheduled for Friday, April 17.  In order to enroll in kindergarten for the 2020-21 school year, children must turn five (5) years old on, or before, August 1, 2020 (KRS 158.030).

-- PRESCHOOL --

Preschool registration for the 2020-2021 school year is scheduled for Friday, April 17.

Join us at Memorial Education Center for our Parent and Child connections.

Our mission is to provide a safe, comfortable and loving place for you and your child to spend time together growing and learning.  We will provide activities, information and lunch while you explore together. THERE IS NO CHARGE TO THE FAMILY.  This is a free program.

Parent and child connections are for parents and guardians of children birth – kindergarten entry.  All you have to do is show up and be ready to spend quality, fun filled time with your child.
